This is a mini sea captain hat designed and made by me. It is made of bottom weight cotton fabrics over a thick interfacing top and base, with a black vinyl and interfacing brim had sewn to the piece. The hat is further embellished with a gold metal sea anchor hand sewn to the fabric, gold venice lace leaf flourishes with a metal crown hand sewn at the top, and a golden rope secured with two gold metal rivets. The piece fastens with either two alligator clips secured to the underside or black satin headband.
